So I assume the developer who set up Emberify didn't leave Refocus Labs on good terms..

I'll also assume Tilt is no longer supported because he was the developer who built it.

Sad for the BlackBerry community, with development Tilt could have been cool.

I would think if he built it working for Refocus, it's Refocus's property.

That is correct, unless it was built under open source terms and he had requested a copy. Which it seems is not the case.

We knew it was stolen code. Refocus said so a while back. I'm surprised Blackberry let it in the store.

Either way, I paid for the original tilt, and it wasn't a very useful app, so I certainly wasn't going to pay for this.

Not open source code, but a concept by TAT.

For these guys to be using their name is frankly, a disgrace.

But to be fair, Blackberry has already sucked out all the creativity that this division had.

Hopefully they come to a common ground and release the app again cause honestly I bought the tilt and refocus had totally forgotten about the app can't remember a single update, since tilt now was released its been the no1 purchased app, so kudos to Emberify,

Refocus has made good apps like arkick etc but for some reason they're rarely updated with new features, disappointing

We, the regular posters of crackberry?

Maybe it was too general of a we, at least the people who looked at the threads involving this app.

Sorry I was unaware of a thread about the app, it sounded like you was a Refocus employee. I'm surprised they got as far as they did releasing the app, being promoted on CrackBerry, sales.

I'll assume Emberify developers believe they own or have a right to use the source code however this doesn't do much for their reputation (which is already debatable due to their tendency to delete negative app reviews).

I've seen their app icon before too. Someone in the free design section on reddit a while ago. They might not be been the original makers of the design either.

Two people can come up with the same solution independently, it's surprising how often it happens.

What is going difference between tilt and tilt now though?

As far as I can see they're pretty much the same thing, useless. If they found a way to integrate this into your the lock screen then maybe would be useful.
