Can anyone point me to info on the steps to switch to a new phone. I am wondering if I can just insert my new nano sim and go. Also, can I restore my Z10 backups to my Classic ?

    Thanks.

Inserting the sim card should work just fine since you are not changing carriers. Some folks will need to contact customer service to activate the sim but plug and play is worth a try.

BlackBerry Link should work for restoring your information to the new phone. My suggestion is to make a full backup of the Z10 first. Then use Link to do a device transfer.

Yep, it should be a matter of switching out the SIM card. That was what I did switching Z10 to Passport.

I used BlackBerry Link to migrate from Z10 to Passport by connecting two devices and click switch device option. Make sure you choose to transfer only compatible data.

Good luck and enjoy your new BlackBerry Classic.

    Cheers

Download the Device Switch app in BlackBerry World. That will help.
