Despite what the rumors were, I just got off the phone the rep at Best Buy who was calling to let me know my storm was there and that I could come in anytime after 9am tomorrow to pick it up. WOOHOO. No lines, No wondering if I will get it, no delays.

As I stated before I will sleep in nice and late, then drive over and stroll in to Best Buy and get my storm.

I sure am glad I did not count on my VZW corp store to get my storm like some had told me to do

Yes. Best Buy has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee as well. I asked them when I did the pre order. In addition to this, they WILL price match the vzw price and they WILL give you any vzw rebates as instant instead of mail in.

Right but, if VZW is selling them for less then they will match that price. Make sure to check VZW website for their retail before you head into Best Buy to pick up you phone. Don't count on BB to tell you VZW is selling it for less.

Best Buy should be able to make the mail in rebate an instant rebate so if you have already paid that deposit get the rewards zone discount then you should pay only $125ish tomorrow.

In a related note: I don't know much about Best Buy's rewards program. How does it give you $25 off? According to the website it seems like you just get a $5 certificate after spending $250. What am I missing?

Call the Best Buy you have an appointment with and ask them or if it is not too far away just go in and try to pick it up in the AM.
