go to settings > about , in the category, if there's a workspace option, then device should be in BES

Ok...thanks. My work email says it's on the activesync server...can a phone be on BES and Activesync at the same time?

They can be mutually exclusive.

As the poster above said, check the 'about' section of the settings on the phone. If you're enrolled with BES, there will be a workspace option in the drop down box.

Another tell tale sign is if your BES is on EMM-Balance (and Nottingham Work Space Only), swiping from the top of main home screen you may see 'Work Space'. If so then you're on BES with EMM - Balance.

Check Service Books or Security Settings for a Policy. If you receive Company mails you are obviously connected to a BES
