    Hey Guys,

I still use my Bold 9780 til the classic comes out - but i experienced some problems the last months with battery (although i replaced the original one) and it's not as snappy anymore as it was back in the beginning. I kept it always clean, very few apps installed and restored it several times.

How can I see what is the most current OS6 version for my phone? By using the Desktop Manager? Or is there any other way? And how about unofficial Upgrade? How far can i go with my 9780?

    Greetz, Akis.

    Start your research here:

Gives links to leaked OS6 versions, and it might help you decide/choose which OS6 level you want.

You will need to google the instructions on how to delete the vendor files, or the update will not work on your device.

Yes, that is where you will download the OS to your computer. Then you will need to Google and read very carefully the instructions about how to upgrade the OS. It will take some time, maybe over an hour to load the OS, and you must be sure to not disconnect your phone from the computer during the install.

Use this link instead of the one above: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...D943498B89DD71

You can get the 6.0.0.723 version which is pretty good.
