Hello everyone. My wife currently has a BlackBerry Bold 9900 and it suddenly keeps resetting anytime she does anything that accesses the internet. At first we thought it was her battery because it didn't seem to be holding a charge at all. However, it will go from full charge to no charge back to full charge again in a matter of minutes when the battery is pulled. Now however it seems that when she tries to do anything it goes in this infinite loop of resetting until she pulls the battery again (and of course when she does this it tells her it's completely dead again). We recently did a backup and updated the OS. This didn't solve the issue either. She still has 5 or 6 months left to her contract and we don't have the money to buy a new device outright.

Any ideas that we can try to get her going again? Right now we are attempting to get onto my old Torch 9810 but she would rather her Bold.

Have a look at your battery, it may be lose, and if it is put a small piece of paper in on one end to push the battery against the contacts.

Have any new apps/updates been installed since this started to happen?

Definitely needs a new battery. Sounds like it has worn out to me.

Cheap on amazon or ebay, just sort by price + shipping: lowest first.
