My z10 says unlocked when I look in the settings, but I never unlocked it. I got it from AT&T. Is it really unlocked? Lol. I know it's a question of the obvious but it just seems too good to be true. Lol.

install a SIM card from another carrier, and see if you can connect to their network. That would be the simpliest way to know if you have an unlocked device.

    I concur with Drenegade...
If you press the Unlock Network tab, you'll see: SIM Security and you have to enter the network unlock code.

There's more than one way to lock a phone. AT&T chose to only lock the network - thus, you only see the big "unlock network" button. The "subset" and "service provider" locks are left unlocked. That way, there's only one code needed to unlock it. Some carriers require at least two codes.
