Yeppers! After all of the money spent in apps that I did use, the ones I did not use after trying them out, and 1, maybe 2 just plain toilet fodder apps, that 10 bucks was a "deal breaker"........

But hey, I has da bestus doorstop on da planets.....It also reminds me to think twice......

Guess some expect a device to run forever with constant support... this seems to be the view of "jilted" Playbook users to which I am the proud owner of 3 which I paid full price for.... Use them on a regular basis... is it the greatest device made... heck no... but a least for me it has been well worth the 1,000 dollar plus investment..... I still have my original Ipad which for all intensive purposes orphaned.... do not view it any differently than Playbook.... Everything has an End Of Life... a sad fact some do not want to accept....

$35 for the 32 gig. Yeah right. Mine has a lot of life, yet. I can not get a better video player and music player for that type of money.

Dbmallory everyone accepts that eventually support stops. However, bb10 was promised for the Playbook, only to be told "whoops, sorry! We thought it could handle it. Our bad. " the least that they could have done as a final update was fixing the browser and keyboard slowness and make it a bb10 keyboard. I remain "jilted" over it to this day. I still use it occasionally, though. Music, alarm clock, notebook, that sort of thing. I'm counting on it being a one off in BlackBerry 's otherwise good support record.

Well my Playbook isn't the fastest, nor the best... But it definitely gets used daily.
I bought my Dad one for Christmas a few years back, and as I was setting it up, I fell in love with it. So much so that I went and bought one when I got back for Christmas vacation.

I told my Dad the other day I was going to buy him a new Android tablet (Nexus line up)... But he stopped me and said he loves his PlayBook. He doesn't want another tablet, as it does everything he wants and he uses it everyday. Something about the gestures that he will not give up.

I'm not going to trade in my PlayBook. I have a Nexus 7 which I do love, but I always return to my beloved PlayBook.
