I don't know what happened, suddenly, meanwhile I was typing a long letter, the keyboard on my Z10 has become unusable. It's impossible to select any word suggestion.

It's hard to explain, so i made a video:


I was on 10.3.0, then I upgraded to 10.3.1
Countless reboots, no fix
Do you have any suggestions? Your help will be appreciated!

I'd like to avoid anything like wiping or autoloaders, since there isn't a decent way to make a backup on bb10
(if this was android, I would have used titanium backup and wiped in an heartbeat, but here there's no root)

Not true. It's a trial and error process

Don't restore. It's the only way.
Maybe there is some .bar file you can delete/reinstall

Don't backup... SYNC

What I mean by that is to copy all pictures,documents,music,videos from phone to pc.. that will do a lot of good first

Then go for contacts... mine sync with my email.. email also does calendar for me so that's a plus.. if not.. do it..

For the rest.. messages.. appdata.. there are backup apps or link but in my experience, going back to a previous OS, specially lower middle numbers (10.2.0, 10.2.1, 10.3.0, 10.3.1) it always brought a little trouble because of missing options in previous versions so that's that..

Don't forget anything else you might have that I didn't think about right now..

Finally, generally speaking, don't go leaks if you're not willing to deal with the troubles and consequences they might bring.
