    Hi All,

We knew that with BB OS 10.3 we are able to install the Android apk without even converting it to bar file. With BB OS 10.3, it also has the Amazon app store pre-installed.

This is convenient for the users who love BB and need more apps/games. But do you think that this is good for BB platform in long run? I personally think that this will prevent the developers to put effort to develop the native apps/games for BB OS..since the BB users can install the app using apk files more conveniently nowadays, but most of these apps/games installed from Android apk do not really work as good as the native apps/games do..

    What do u guys think?

On a side note, I'm also appreciated the effort from BB trying to solve the "lack of apps/games" problem in BB platform.

I think this is pretty much the same topic that has been discussed in many threads already.

Good short term, horrible long term.

However, the native app is the best and we must get them!
Why I need Android runtime? To get some games that works only on Android, it will be better to get them as native, especially that they use Google Services / or Google games , which can't be used here in BlackBerry 10

I have been using these apps since the early days of sideloading everything. Has come a long way since then. I rarely have an issue with my android apps on my BlackBerry. Smooth sailing for me. I always reboot after an install and have been good to go everytime
