The phone number shown in BlackBerry is strange!
In all devices on the earth it appears like this :
xxx-xxx-xxxx

But here in BlackBerry it's really confusing!
It shows them like this :
xx xxx-xxxxx

I really confused with this!
Anyway to change how it looks?

Not here in the UK.

I know it like this.

+xx = country code
xxx = carrier number
xxxxx = number

+49 172 434553

So it's here in Germany.
It's the Europe format. The other is US.

Thanks, got it now

But I think this should work when making international calls, in the same country I think no need to use this format!

As far as I know, you don't have to put "0" as the first digit. It seems that this causes your problems as the phone think it is a part of the phone number.

The issue is in your Phone Settings it's set to UK/Europe/some country that's NOT the us.

Just set it to canada/us format depending on where you live.

Might also be worth checking Phone -> Settings -> Smart Dialing
Make sure it's set to whatever your National Number Length is (mine's 10 digits)
