Nah they just help you stream. Downtube (paid) can help preload the videos for you..

These apps are not "downloading" the videos but they cache them (in device's memory) for offline viewing.

You may try finding a website that converts YouTube urls to videos. Then it's a regular download for you

Thanks, but my Q5 is beginning to get tight on onboard storage as I have 4-5 "preloads" for a flight, but weirdly when I deleted Navfree to reinstall with two fewer countries I won't be back to for a while, it declined to reload even one country citing storage space.

Does anyone know if there's an android app to load youtube videos to cards?

I saw an android Philips W6610 with a five inch screen & 5.3Ah battery & two sims, which looks a better phone while travelling.

I don't know of any application to download youtube video directly..

Navfree doesn't work quite well for me and location search option didn't ever work for me in india. So thinking of deleting it but trying to get any better app for sat nav.
