hey guys,
im afraid my beloved torch starts eating his own allies :S
when i try to charge it, it wont charge, the charging symbol wont appear and it already killed two chargers!
i have no idea whats going on, if i would change this part:

that is the charge port and it might fix it but it could also be something on the motherboard which that will not fix. its hard to say. might have to take it to a shop

It looks like there's a short in the charging circuit, that's why it's killing your chargers
It happened once to my g1, there's the need to change the whole main board.

if i change the whole motherboard though, wouldnt it erase the whole data ive installed as apps, costume settings and such?

Yes it will be a totally new phone.
Moreover I think BlackBerry replacement boards have no pin assigned and need to be enabled with a special tool

wouldnt it be worth trying to replace the part ive linked as a last resort?

A more successful option would be to buy an external battery charger, in my opinion
A broken connector won't charge, but it shouldn't kill chargers
