It's been 1 month since I have been using Q5(10.2). But Pim services again is hogging down battery full. Currently it discharges in 12 hours with Pim being the main culprit. I don't even use this service.

Searching the Internet reveals this is hardly anything new. Anyone has any tips that can help me.

PIM service is your email, calendar, contacts. Check those refresh rates first.

It is what I have too. It is a bit more but generally it is know problem.

What you may want to ask the system administrator switch of the calendar function only. This will probably help.

I have tested this and it increased the battery life 10 times. 30 hours.
Unfortunately I cannot live without a calendar so I am trying to find the item causing the battery leak. Without succes until know

What i did is moving a partner of the calender items to a separate folder. That helped 30procent.

What BlackBerry may want to do is switching of the sync when the calendar item occurred in the past.

Umm I don't understand. If this app was the reason for battery drainage shouldn't it show in the device monitor. Otherwise how would you figure out that app is the result for battery drainage?

I found it. It is amazing. A conflict in birthday dates. In outlook. But now it is stable.
