The form factor is definitely liberating for many. I can certainly understand that when it comes to spreadsheets, PDFs, etc. Oh and battery life. That is a big, big bonus.
These breakup threads are cute and everything, but if Apple were to post up everybody who broke up with their BlackBerry and went iPh we'd have a book as thick as the bible with these experiences.

But just about every single one of those people who be people who just want a very simple phone with a visual appeal that's stuck with them since they were a little tyke
Difference here is it's like.. they're now graduating to the advanced phones
I retured the iphone6 for the passport which beats the iphone6 in almost every category. My android friends laughed at me saying that beating an "outdated iphone6" doesn't mean much so I gave them a demo. They are impressed but don't know about using a keyboard. I'm still getting used to the keyboard myself. I think an all touch passport would be da bomb.

I never said the keyboard made it an advanced phone, it's the phone itself, hardware and software combined, though mostly software is what makes BlackBerry10, BlackBerry10.
The fact that it's an advanced phone is for many reasons too numerous to mention, but a couple of simple quick ones are that you can install stuff from any source, not simply the 'official one' only (Android and BlackBerry Win) (I'm ignore Jailbreaking because it's technically an offense of the ToA), and it not being so freaking simple that it's frustrating when you want to do something a little more 'advanced'.

You're right. The upcoming Classic is an advanced phone based on the stuff you mentioned, keyboard and all
