It also scales your videos to 4:3 aspect ratio which gives you a whole lot more of a filled screen even if it doesn't look amazing

Mind giving me a tip on adding a source?

When I finish naming my source and go to install from zip, I see superrepo but when I click on it, its empty... I know I spelled it correctly... did it 3 times now

I was about to post help with XMBC but you beat me to it.

I got the app running but it's super slow to connect to anything. It just stays on a screen like forever and says connecting status all the time. Please help as I would like to mirror this app to my TV.

What version are you using?

Does your add-ons take forever to load? Mind isn't freezing but it's just taking forever to connect to anything.

I loaded the spmc app which is available from amazon app store. SPMC is just a forked version of xbmc. It worked great for the first few days and then it just slowed right down. Took forever to load anything.

Maybe I'll give xbmc a shot.

I loaded up the latest XBMC - KOBI version 14.0 Beta1 APK file on my Passport.
Installed the app called Genesis for streaming movies and TV.
It will stream and looks good but very slow getting to that point.

An interesting find today was streaming to XMBC set up on an old Apple TV version 1 (silver) from my Passport.
Played with a few setting on XBMC and the passport found the player in the Play On list.
Good picture and sound. Controls after it is running are lacking.
