Hi!

Has I wrote in another post, my BB Curve 9360 has a better cell signal (-70 dbm) than my all new BB 10 Q5 (-90 dbm) on the same network Telus, and with the same Sim card...

I really don't know what radios is compatible for me to try to flash... I installed the official Passport leak, autoloader for Q5, version 10.3.1.821. And the radio version is : 10.3.1.822.
Can I use any 10.3 Q5 radios? Or do I have to change the os version to be able to test another radio?

Would you help me to find radios I could try? And point me to the best tutorial to do so? I maybe have the wrong words to search for it...

I'm currently running 10.3.0.908 and I used the autoloader posted here on CB. It runs fine, however I am in the UK with Orange / EE as my provider so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. The signal is usually stable but sometimes drops, but I think it's to do with EE. I hope it helps a little bit...

Signal strength generally relates to the physical characteristics of the device including the antenna location and chassis interference- not so much the version of radio stack on the device.

Your Q5 might simply have a weaker antenna compared to the older 9360. For comparison, the Z30 has a stronger antenna than both the Q10 and Passport.
