Give a man a fish, teach a man to fish...

    WHAT YOU NEED
    • Debrick OS bar (the right one)
    • Radio bar (the right one)
    • Darcy's Tools/Sachesi (latest is best)
    • Patience

    HOW TO DO IT
    Darcy's Tools
    1. Open Darcy's Tools
    2. Go to the "Build Autoloader" tab
    3. Drag and drop the debrick and radio bar files onto the first two file fields
    4. Give it a name
    5. Click "Build It"

    Sachesi
    1. Open Sachesi
    2. Open "Extract" tab
    3. Click "Extract Signed" (note: if advanced mode is on, select everything except PINList)
    4. Extract the debrick and radio bars
    5. Click "Create from files"
    6. Select the .signed files that you extracted in the last step

SO WHAT BAR FILE DO I USE?
    OS
    • STL100-1: winchester.factory_sfi.desktop-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
    • Passport (10.3.1+): qc8960.factory_sfi_hybrid_qc8974.desktop-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
    • Passport (10.3.0): qc8974.factory_sfi.desktop-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
    • Z3 (10.3.1+): qc8960.factory_sfi_hybrid_qc8x30.desktop-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
    • All other devices: qc8960.factory_sfi.desktop-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

    Radio
    • STL100-1: m5730-*VERSION*-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

All you need is debrick and radio. The debrick file contains the core OS already.

Nah, moved to How-to, and keep the convo going. Can only lead to more members helped, and potentially inspire another grand idea or two.

One additional tidbit of information, I can't find concisely documented. A list of model to bar file name would be extremely handy when building autoloaders, especially decompiled from blitz.

Give a man a fish he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

P.S. I've built many autoloaders and extracted apps and split OS/radios. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried it, follow Thurask's instructions and you will see its not hard. At all.

If I can do it EVERYONE can.

Little file to expedite things. Requires a folder of debrick/radio bars, 7Zip (in C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe) and cap.exe in the folder above it.

Any difference between a regular debrick/radio and the VZW beyond carrier apps?
