I had Extreme Plus 64GB SanDisk SD card for my Z30, but keep having files corruption on my (photos and music). I had to erase and reformat my card at least 5x since the last 3 months. Even though my phone recognized the data size on my on, but would not let me view my photos or play my music. Looking for buying a new card, can you guys recommend one? Thanks.

Never had issues but there agian, I have it formated to FAT32... You could try that... Just remember that you will not be able to copy files larger than 4gb to it.

I had this card on my z10 for 4 months before I upgraded to the Z30 and never had a problem, but since I had my z30 in August, I keep having files corruption and get sick of it.

I had formatted in ExtFAT as some one on this site recommended but didn't help at all. Yes, I had used BBVE to test the SD card and it seems alright, what other things should I do if I have missed any test?

One thing I should have mentioned, I had encryption my SD card back when it was on my Z10 as a trying out the BlackBerry features, but I did (positively) de - encryption on the Z10 before I have it on my new Z. I am not sure if somehow messed up my card, but this can't be right?

Any suggestions would be appreciated before I buy the new card. Should I give SanDisk another try? Thanks.

Plug the SD to the PC, move all your stuff off it, format as FAT32, put it back on the BB, have it format the SD and then move your stuff back in batches. Not all of it at once. 1GB batches.

Give it time to index and see how it all goes.

It could be you have a defective SD, it could be it just needed formating some more...

Thanks for your information, I will definitely give it a try, hope that I don't have to replace my SD card, I had this card since April this year.

Me too, same as Blaze-me-up, JayDeeBayBee & Diagon-Alley.

Works beautifully... quick to access photos etc from months ago. No issues. I've had it for almost a year now.

One diff is that I have mine formatted to exFAT.

I use the new SanDisk 128 GB Class 10 formatted exfat. I have noticed, however, that this card has only been properly supported by some of the newer OS releases as noted in my previous posts from weeks past. I am currently running 10.3.1.938 on my Z10 STL100-3 (AT&T network, USA) and it is working fine but takes some time for the phone to scan the media card if the phone is reset. Once that is done, however, all works well with no problem accessing hundreds of photos, some videos and thousands of music files.

I have the same card and had to do the same, format to FAT32. As a matter of fact, when I got my Z30 I had to roll back to 10.2.1 format the SDCARD in that OS, put all my content back on the SDCARD and then updated to 10.3.0.1418 in order for the SDCARD to work. Otherwise I kept on getting this error asking me to download a driver to format on 10.3.0.xxxx and it would just not work.

    Look! It's Zedzilla 30! ?
