    Running BES 10.2.4 - When a user goes to to try and access their work account on Blend (they are using a Passport) get the the following error:

    Work data is blocked by an IT Policy. Please contact your administrator to request access.

    Does anyone know which policy affects this in BES 10.2.4?

    Yeah Mate.

    Manage IT Policies > (select the relevant policy, or default).

    Find the "Software" heading.

    Adjust the following settings to suit:

    BlackBerry Blend: Allow (default)
    BlackBerry Blend Access to Work Data: Allow
    BlackBerry Blend Access to Work Files: Allow
    BlackBerry Blend Access to the Work Browser: Allow

    The last three there are specifically relevant for work data - so that's probably the key!

    I had the same issue as you when I installed the first Passport into our system. Restarting those services mentioned in the KB and then resending the profile to the device fixed it for me.

    Restart the following services on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server:
    1.BES10 - BlackBerry Administration Service - Application Server
    Note: Do not complete step 2 until the first service has successfully started.
    2.Restart the BES10 - Enterprise Management Web Service

    For me to resolve this i had to restart the BES server after applying the 10.2.4 upgrade

    Actually it was helpful. It had all the pieces that everyone posted individually. Why not go to the company who makes the product for support and has it documented instead of asking on a forum. Now if Blackberry didn't have any documentation, then I would say that asking a forum is the right thing.
