    Does the blackberry assistant do 'speak selected content'? I am pretty sure it doesn't but maybe I missed it somewhere in the accessibility settings.

    Well, since Assistant seems to work only when the app is on foreground and "maximized", I would guess not. But let's try!

    EDIT: It got it when I said "speak selected text", but thought I was talking about SMS texts. Same for "read the selected text".

    There is a good idea though.
