My Z10 is on 10.2.1.2977. And I'm not sure when this issue started but it's been a number of months for sure.

After any restart BlackBerry Maps works fine. But if I use an Android app that accesses GPS, such as Google Maps, and then go into BB Maps, it hangs after I press Start to commence voice guided navigation. The voice says "Getting route" and it displays "updating route" with the rotating circle and after a minute or so it says "no gps" "your gps location can't be found" "close" or "try again"... even tho it just pulled up a map of where I am.

    Anyone else with this?

Anyone know if it's fixed in 10.3?

You might try getting task manager from b world and see if there's an android app still in the background and press on it and Kill it

Are you closing Google Maps completely before going to BB maps? Probably trying to use location in 2 apps at the same time.

Shouldn't BB10 be able to handle that? All other multitasking works perfectly.

Yeah, probably should, but it's Google that doesn't play nice with BlackBerry.

That happened to me in one of the versions before 10.2.1.2977 on my Z10. I don't recall it being associated with the Android player (or at least one that used Maps) since I don't have any android map apps. A software update fixed it. Or maybe it was a hard reset?
    Sorry, not too helpful.
