I find it very frustrating to use Youtube now a days for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The slow typing and slow opening of the videos wants me the smash the crap out of one of my 5 Playbooks. There is a solution and it is called Bing Search Engine. It let's you type with no lag and search for videos on YouTube by searching by the following sample:

Table Top Catan YouTube

Or

Minecraft YouTube

Then the video plays super smooth inside of Bing.

What a relief this is. Bing is also good for playing videos from other sites as well using the same search technique as above.

Thanks for the tip. I'm sure that this can be used even on the new BlackBerry 10 devices as a more efficient method of getting to the videos.

You can also use Origami browser, turn off desktop mode and then go to http://m.youtube.com This will bring up the mobile version of the site which works a little smoother on the Playbook. Will try this Bing workaround, though as it is another alternative.

Bing has the nice feature that when you place two fingers on the image you can get a short preview of the video.
