    Hello Helpster,

i recently installed the so called official 10.3.0.1418 per fittin
autoloader at my z10-2. Booted up fine, running smooth.
After a while i made a device restart and the crap started.
The device LED blinked. I could only turn on the piece of
plastic by hard reset. The Hunululu started and after a off turn
the light show is up again. The autoloader is fine it worked at a
friends z10-2 normal. I took the old 10.2.1 aloader and the disco fx
is gone. Could this be explained ?

What way do you prefer to autoload os 10.3.0.x ?

    1. Security Wipe by Phone OS (10.2.2) > aloader 10.3.0.x > OK
    or
    2. removed Battery > SIC Multiwipe > aloader 10.3.0.x | Batt in if i want
    or
    3. your turn ?

I do NOT want to boot up the phone after flashing, so i removed
the battery before the flash, if the flash finished the device is turning
off and i can finish the setup if i got time. This allways worked
for me. The CFP.exe command should do exact this ( CFP FRESH ) but is not working with our z10s. So we fiddled out to remove battery before flash.

    Thankz

Just run the autoloader. Everything else is a complete waste of time.

If I would like to wipe all files and file systems prior to loading a new device software, I would probably use CFP.exe with the following arguments. (It would work on Z10.)

    ----------

    C:\BlackBerry> cfp.exe help wipe

    RIM Wireless Device Command-Line Programmer Version 3.10.0.57 (Win32) [Feb 13 20 14 14:12:14]
Copyright 2012 Research In Motion Limited

    WIPE Usage
    ==========
    WIPE [-F|-I]

    Where:
    ------
-F specifies that only the filesystem should be wiped.
-I specifies that only the installer partition should be removed.

If no option is specified, both the filesystem and OS are wiped.

    Description:
    ------------
The WIPE command allows the filesystem or all the filesystem and OS regions of flash to be irreversibly erased.

This command should be used when initially upgrading to the new loader to ensure that old (unrecognized) versions of applications are destroyed.

    CFP WIPE

    ----------

    C:\BlackBerry> cfp.exe help nuke

    RIM Wireless Device Command-Line Programmer Version 3.10.0.57 (Win32) [Feb 13 2014 14:12:14]
Copyright 2012 Research In Motion Limited

    NUKE Usage
    ==========
    NUKE [-A]

    Where:
    ------
-A specifies that the OS should be erased as well (requires password).

    Description:
    ------------
The NUKE command erases all of the user's data off the device including the filesystem and the password. This command is useful if a password is lost and one would like to make the device usable again at the expense of lost data.
