If I am posting this in the incorrect area, I apologize. I considering purchasing a 64GB Playbook (it sounds like it will still meet my requirements), but have been reading on here about a Playbook that will run on 4G/LTE. I have not seen one. How can I get one? It would be most useful when I am in the field.

You might want to take a look at the Market Place -- if there aren't any available post a WTB (Want to Buy) ad.

I had an LTE PlayBook, found it to be rather useless over time -- not the PlayBook but the 4G connectivity. It was just another expense at the end of the month. Speeds were awesome, but the speeds that pairing with a BlackBerry for network access were just as acceptable. Just my two cents of course

May need to try eBay or similar for a 4G Playbook. Not sure how much they're going for, personally I've been happy with my WiFi only Playbook using Bridge and my phone's data connection.

Bridge works so well with my q5. I would never turn on the 4G due to extra cost if I could. Consider the wifi only and save even more.

I too had thought about the LTE PB but decided unless really inexpensive to skip it. My phone plan had unlimited data so I just bridge to it when out and about. Only negative is the battery drain on the phone so I have one of the usb battery backups. It has enough capacity and current capability to even charge up the PB. I tried one and am thinking of getting a 2nd as they are cheap.

After reading the responses, I think I could do without LTE. But I have a couple of questions:
1). Does it work well for watching videos?
2). How is it for an e-reader? (DRM removed content)

    Thanks for the input!

I have watched a lot of movies on it (Show Box and sideloaded, on the PB and HDMI out to tv) and it's great. I also have Kindle app sideloaded and it works fine, but I rarely use it for that as I rather read on my Paperwhite. But it's comparable to reading on a Kindle Fire or similar.

I got the LTE version because it has a faster processor. OMAP 4460 @ 1.5 Ghz.
I have also tried a boatload of epub and mobi torrented books without issue. If you know what I mean.
Same goes for cbr comics. I use JJ viewer.
I have also used it as a GPS with a tmobile sim card and google maps 6.2 I believe is the correct version.
So far I love it. I've owned it for about 3 weeks.
The stock browser is crap though, origami is much better on my opinion as well.

The 4G PlayBook is way faster than the wifi only version, whether you are bridging or subscribing to a separate data. I have both, so I know.
