Hi everyone. I'm thinking of buying a Q5 for $224 Canadian. Do you think this is a good price? It is unlocked and brand new. Do people get a solid day from the battery? My primary driver I'd a Windows Phone at the moment but I'm curious about developing in cascades. I also dabble in c# and xaml for windows. Thanks!

Should be a good go. There are reports you can get a little cheaper pay as you go on Telus but it will be locked, but that is a great price for fully unlocked phone with full warranty.

Locked, but is a great deal even if you include an unlock fee.

The handset has to have the aws bands 1700 and 2100mhz to work on my carrier wind. Not all unlocked phones have this band. These are harder to find unfortunately.

$224 is good but you can look around for cheaper, probably not un locked though... The battery will easily last a day. I'm very happy with it it's nice hardware with BB10!

I just bought a Q5 on Amazon (Telus packaging, unlocked) for 179usd. Pretty good price. Should hold me over until the Classic is released.

I got the Telus prepaid Q5 from Future Shop. Paid US$15.49 for an unlock code on ebay.

I'm using it on Wind, so I can vouch for the compatibility. I'm pretty sure all Q5s in Canada are the same model and work with all Canadian carriers if unlocked.

Hi your price $224 is about 124 GBP in UK, lowest was 99GBP if you were quick but average is 180GBP
new and unlocked, so it's good value, had one for a year and battery life with my use a day and a half,
    and no problems yet.

Believe that these are the same frequencies that Eastlink offer . They don't have the Q5 but Z10, Q10, and curve
