I'm looking to upgrade from official 10.2.1.2126 to a 10.3 or 10.3.1 but I can't decide what would be the best to run as a daily driver...

What would you guys recommend? Its hard to decipher through all the feedback on the various leak posts as to which has issues or is relatively trouble free.

I have always run hybrids and such on my old bbos phones, but have been sticking with official releases on bb10, but my phone needs a refresh and I don't want to keep waiting for 10.3.x to be officially released

Suggestions? I'm comfortable loading other radio or camera files etc to fix bugs if needed to get a better OS.

I've got a Verizon Z30 STA-03 running on Bell Canada primarily, but I also need it to work on Verizon for my frequent trips to the USA if that matters for OS choice

Thanks for any feedback and suggestions

    Cheers!

I have a Z30 STA 100-3. Been running the 10.3.0.1154 leak and it's been excellent. Think you'd really enjoy it. Don't know about 10.3.1 leak but there's plenty of info from those who are trying it.

I've run all the 10.3 leaks. So far, Dev OS 10.3.1 is the best. Z30 STA100-3

I've been on 10.3.0.1052 since the day it dropped and it has been a pretty decent OS.. definitely a daily driver material but contains some rare hiccups here and there..
I do a restart every 4 / 5 days on average just to keep everything in check

10.3.1.632 is heads above any version of 10.3.0. The memory management alone makes it vastly superior.

Android Runtime is also much improved (can sign into Microsoft Office now for instance).

A lot of great new features too.

    Don't hesitate.

Unfortunately it does. But the new features this OS bring definitely outweigh that silly watermark. You'll forget about it being there sooner than you think!

I believe this question has been repeated 101 times. The short answer is any 10.3.0.1xxx version can be used as daily drive. Personally I am using 10.3.0.1154.

I would like to run 10.3.1 but one of the apps I use daily (Stocks for BB10) doesn't run on 10.3.1 due to the removal of adobe air support.. I think I'll go with 10.3.0.1154

Running 10.3.0.1154 on my Z30 with little issue. Little laggy with kb sometimes but it's been pretty solid thus far. Quite happy and impressed it breathed new life into my phone. We getting bored of 10.2.x call block with power tools app is a godsend on 10.3. Love the refined interface and looking forward to the dark theme hub. Battery is phenomenal as well.

Only downsides with 10.3.1 are no flash currently, air apps don't work (stocks and 3d sounds are the only two I've found), and pin watermarks.

Lots of upsides. To many to list.

Can someone with 10.3.1 try to run the RBC banking app? It looks like it's an air app.

It's available to download. The air apps would say unavailable for this device.

You'll have to deal with that anyway in a couple of months. Might as well deal with that now and look into alternatives.

If you work in Emergency services I would recommend not to install any leak at all

I'd say yes. I have been using it on my Z30 100-5 since yesterday as a daily driver and have had no problems whatsoever. It is a solid leak, and I decided to keep it. I suggest to do a wipe with SIC and do a clean install (do not restore; it is a pain, but it is worth doing it this way).

Camera does not function well on Z30 running 10.3.0. Just a warning. Also, if you have a lot of android apps, phone will lag and will require regular reboots to clear memory. All of this is resolved in 10.3.1.
