    Public service announcement (and discussion).
Ran the STA100-3 autoloader on my VZW Z30. Everything seemed to work except VVM - same problem as earlier 10.3 builds on Verizon handsets.
We had work-arounds that involved installing certain 10.2.1 VZW VVM BAR's to get it working, and that is what I have been doing up until now.
However, that work-around did NOT work on this build.
I fiddled around a little, but in the end I got VVM working by restoring from backup (EXCLUDING BlackBerry Runtime). I had done a complete backup prior to running the autoloader. I was on a 10.3.0 build at that time, so if you are on a 10.2 build, I have no idea if you will encounter issues after restore. I have not seen any adverse effects so far since running the restore last night.

Thanks for the information. I don't use VVM but I do have a VZW Z30. Ben toying with the idea of loading this new leak. RFA works? BT? those are always my biggest issues...

Jaydee, RFA works fine. I have not had a problem with that in a long time. I DID have a LOT of frustrating reliability issues with it early on, but RFA has been solid for me on all the latest Link builds and all the latest BB10 leaks. Have not had a problem for months now.
I have yet to test Bluetooth. I'm not expecting a problem because all the 10.3 leaks that I loaded so far had working Bluetooth. In fact, I can not even remember ever having a Bluetooth issue on any leak, and I do load most of them (skip a couple here and there if the one I'm running is super stable and the new one offers little) but I can not yet offer a guarantee on this one.

I had VVM running on my Q10 with 10.3.0, but even following these steps for 10.3.1 I'm getting a 9009 error message telling me to call Verizon. 10.3.1.632 and Verizon VVM-img_20141002_134014.png . I'll play with it more this evening. I don't get cell service inside at work, and have to keep going outside to test.

Bfunkera, I get that too, but eventually the 9009 error pops up. I can close it and continue to stare at the spinning circle, but I'll leave that for my cats tonight.

Yes, Cube, that is the problem. I only resolved it with a restore from previous 10.3.0 install that had working VVM. The old BAR file trick was not working. Luckily, not seeing any problems from having restored from previous OS.

This is good news but not for me as I didn't do a backup. Didn't have much to loose just saved my pics first the rest I always wing it because of previous issues with back up and restore.

In previous builds we just had to sideload a bunch (narrowed down to 1) bar file and reboot to fix VVM for Verizon. It's how we got it to work on 1154... not sure if something similar would work here or not. I haven't loaded up 632 yet to test

Ummm... did you not read the first post? Lol
That's what I said - it does NOT work on this build.
I usually had to load two BAR files to get it to work on previous 10.3 leaks though, the one BAR alone didn't always work. The specific Verizon VVM BAR (forget the name) and also the general VVM setup BAR. Nothing worked on this build though, until I ran the restore.

Jonty12 - it is possible that the restore worked for me only because I had already installed those two older BAR files. It could have been that combination of things that got it working, but I don't know because once I got it working I stopped playing with it and left it alone.

If you want the BAR files I used, let me know. That's if you feel like loading them and then trying the restore again.

sys.data.ecid538.vvm.bar and sys.verizon.sso-10.3.0.7.bar? Both loaded (before restore, after restore, etc). No luck.

I didn't complete my post- sorry. I meant to use the same bar files extracted from the 10.3.1 build that we used like before when we used 10.3 bar files on 10.3.

Maybe using the 10.3.1 files on 10.3.1 would work and not to use the 10.3 files on 10.3.1

Yeah I'm in this boat as well but not too worried. It's the only downside so far. Just glad my texting has been consistently working with this build! If you find a fix that would be great though

Specifically, sys.voicemailsetup.bar (AKA "voicemailsetup-10.2.1.53-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar") from 10.2.1.3253, and the sys.data.ecid538.vvm.bar, pretty sure I pulled that one from these forums.

I have the 538 bar but cannot locate the voicemailsetup bar. Can you post that or link to it please? Thanks

OK, so it will do everything right except connect. I've loaded 4 different files 3 from 10.3 and 1 from 10.2.1. Still no luck.

OK guys after playing with this. I have discovered that.

To get this to work as it has been stated once before. Load the 2 bar files on a fresh install. Then do a restore. I played with this forever. As much as I hate to do restores, it seems this is the only work around I can find also. And believe me I have been playing around with this for the last 6 hours loading files from different OS versions.

Yes JoBudden, although I didn't test quite as extensively as you, that was my conclusion, and what I wound up doing. The good news is that I am not experiencing any oddities from the restore, which was from a hybrid 10 3.0 install. Actually, there is one oddity - Having to do with the Candid application. Every once in a while it throws up a bunch of notices that I need to log in - like 6 notices in a row. I am already logged in. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the app. This -could- be a side effect of the restore - but the only glitch I am seeing, and I really don't care about that app. It may also be an incompatibility with 10.3.1 and have nothing to do with the restore.

Any way, I'm very happy with this build, and to have VVM working with it.
