My AT&T rep says she has late Dec and early March as two potential availability dates. She could confirm neither. All she can confirm is it is coming.

Well that really sucks. So much for wishful thinking that Verizon will have it after the exclusive runs out.

If march is the date that is enough time for Verizon to say f it put cdma in there we'll sell it.

What a joke. Conspiracy or what. Imagine having the same opportunity as the iPhone and Samsung on Carrier shelves without sales staff pushing any product.

I bought my passport via shopblackberry, walked into an ATT shop, and I now have a working Passport on ATT. No need to buy from them.

The carrier certification process blows... If you really want it don't bother waiting for an AT&T version.

My desire to drop Verizon just increased. If I didn't have 18 lines with them I would have done it by now.

I heard people that were doing that weren't able to get LTE, something to do with the Passport not being in their system.

I transferred one line to att. I had two tablets with data only sims. My overall cost has gone way down. Once I test my service in the necessary locations.... if all is good, bye bye big red.

I was thinking about that but I can get the phone for a few hundred less if I wait. I will give them a few more weeks then I may have to just fork out the $$$$$. I want this phone

According to my Passport (purchased from Amazon), I'm currently on AT&T's LTE network.

Not sure if that matters right now. Their "4G" service gets me 8 Mb/sec on a speed test. With all the phones switching over to LTE, that leaves the other frequencies open and free of congestion. I'm not streaming video, so it works for me. All I need is my emails and Calendars to work.

There is LTE. You just have to have at&t use imei from your old lte phone as the imei for the passport. This is because the passports imei is not yet in their library or something like that. That's what I did.

Unsure why anyone is surprised... do not buy the whole certification process... some how I do not think the Apple would have had this lengthy proccess... wonder if it has anything to do with the sale commitment ATT made with Apple???... hmmm...

If this was a few years ago I'd agree with you but do you really think Apple cares about AT&T selling the Passport, and the Note 4 is coming out this month on AT&T too.

    I am currently using a Q10.
When you went to AT&T, did you convert your old phone's micro sim into a nano sim ?
Did you assign the sim card IMEI # for your Passport ?
If yes, are you receiving 4G LTE data coverage or only LTE Voice ?

    thx
