Well, that depends on what OS you're running on your Q10 lol. If it's the 10.2.1 version, then no it isn't. If it's the 10.3 version, then yes it is.

I don't really know, but on my Z30 running 10.3 the music player is a bit different from the one on 10.2 (especially design changes and you don't have / I don't find the last added function anymore) My guess would therefore be, that the same changes apply for the passport as well but no guarantee

Still on 10.2.1. The music player is very important to me as it's one of my constant uses for my phone. The album art looks awesome on that bigger screen.

Yeah I also use the music player every day and I haven't discovered any issues with the updated one (same goes for the entire OS 10.3 ^^) Just go ahead and do the update, it's worth it in my opinion

I'm disappointed with the music player on 10.3. When I say this, I mean that I'm not a fan of the layout compared to the older versions. I liked it when the album artwork was in squares instead of being to the left hand side in a list. I much preferred the grid like view from previous versions.

Honestly, it's the one thing I do not like. Especially on the passport 's bigger screen, I think the grid view would have looked so much better. Having said this, can't fault the music player in the slightest, I've always liked it with BlackBerry. Sound quality with headphones despite no equaliser is also very good.

Someone else has mentioned that to me before so I will look into it but I quite like the simplicity of the BlackBerry one. I will def check that one out that and see which one suits my tastes a little more. Thanks

Hmmh yeah I get your point, maybe they could add grid view as a setting.
