I've had my phone flipped on its face and I can still hear my notifications. Anybody else experiencing this?

hmm, i don't think that flip silences all notifications just a particular incoming call, i may well be wrong though

Strangely I believe the feature is for flip to silence from face down to face up after it starts to ring...

There have been some threads on this already.

I get it, its counter intuitive but it does not mean that when face down you silence your device.

I would love the face down silence feature...

I do however leverage the Meeting mode...love it, just have to ensure that only the appointments in your calendar that you want to change notifications on are set to "Busy". All other set status to "Free"

I believe the feature is, if the device is face up and ringing due to a call, you can flip to silence it.

I thought for "silencing a phone call" you meant the equivalent of "mute microphone"... but you meant "silence notifications"...

You silence the incoming call ring, that's what they advertised.
It didn't work for me the first day, now it works all the time.
