I've just noticed that if I've two different wallpapers set, when unlocking the phone (prompt password) it already shows the main screen wallpaper, instead of the lock screen one.

Is this wanted or it has to be fixed?

    I'm rocking a great Z10STL100-2/10.3.0.1154

    It's a feature. Not a bug

I don't know if this is wanted or not, but the same thing shows in my z30 (home screen display when you want to type in lock password)

The lock screen wall shows only on the lock screen. Any other screen isn't said lock screen. As previously stated, not a problem, but rather a feature.

Yes, the swipe is supposed to reveal whats underneath (the password screen). Remove your password to see what I mean. Looks pretty neat.

Is this in regards to the home screen wallpaper briefly showing before the password screen comes up?

    Like so:

    Lock screen:

Then the home screen wallpaper is displayed:

Followed by the password screen (picture password):

    And the home screen.

Hahahaha! If you set a hot chick as your wallpaper and your girl gets angry tell her when she looks that good it'll be her as your wallpaper. Lemme know how that goes. Haha!

Search abandoned places, interesting stuff. My 6 year old daughter is fascinated with Pripyat and Chernobyl.

In my opinion, this is not a wanted feature, it is a security flaw. The whole point of using a different lock screen background is to protect the privacy of my blackberry. If I only wanted fancy pretty pictures then I can open my photo album and look at them. The lock screen is supposed to protect my privacy and protect me from having unauthorized users viewing my private information. As it is now, I cannot set my background as a photo of my kids, or a photo of my house or cabin or photo of my wife or my wife in a bikini. If I do I have to always been concerned that a stranger or snooper is going to view or copy my private photo for their own purposes. Think about it. If you have a photo of your family and a criminal takes your phone, do u want them looking at a picture of your kid? Or have them show up at your house because they tracked you down based on the information in that image?

It's not just being paranoid, it's common sense and this current design is not right and it surprises me blackberry would do this and call it a 'feature'. I would love to give my beloved blackberry my opinion, anyone know where I could post that they would see?

It's actually quite the opposite. You could have a picture of a box of rocks when locked, then your kid's pic upon unlocking.

Edit - My apologies for not doing a better job reading the OP. Not sure it's a bug, and obviously if you don't want anyone to view an image, don't use it for either wall.

I'm pretty sure that is a bug. I started noticing it on os10.3 and later. I can't remember that happening on 10.2. (even though we had to use "parental controls " to switch up the lock screen wp)
