    Telus rep told me that I could not get a duplicate SIM card so that I could use 2 phones on the same phone number. I realise that officially I can't do this, but is it possible to duplicate a SIM? I'd like to be able to use 2 phones (only one at a time) without having to swap the SIM card between them.

    And the rep is correct. You can not clone SIM cards, be prepared to swap your SIMs if needed.

    That's what I thought - only regulations don't allow it here. Are there any sketchy places in Toronto where I can get it done?

    In the Netherlands is possible as well.. it's called duel sim.. both have the same number etc if you want to use phone A you need to turn of phone B visa versa. If both are turned on it will use the device on which you made your last call or text if I'm correct.
