[unleash the Z]

Just got the.passport ant went to the amazon store and tried to download netflix. It did not show up. But I have it on my z30. Please help. Thx

That's strange it is there when I look with my Z30. I don't think the store checks for device compatibility so I don't know why you would not see it.

You mention you have it for your Z30. If that is the case you probably still have the. apk file in the downloads directory on the Z30. Just copy it over to your Passport and click on it to install.

Just sideload (or search the forum for sideload.it to load it directly from your phone) snap and forget about the amazon app store. I only download from amazon when an app doesn't work from Snap and is also available on the amazon app store.

The OP is absolutely right.

I noticed the thread and immediately was taken a back as I downloaded Netflix from Amazon on to my Passport.
Here's a screen capture when I try to search for it



I was able to download it by going to :
My apps, cloud and selecting it from there.

If you're logged in look under my apps then look in the cloud section, it should be there.

I use Snap for all my app downloads. Much better selection than Amazon. But for people who are buying the Passport and don't know about Snap, I'd say this definitely is a problem and will lead to upset customers.

I just did a search for Netflix on my z30 on amazon and it's right on top. I've had Netflix but it was downloaded from snap not amazon. I'll try installing it and get back to you.

I find 1mobile market is much better than amazon app store anyway. Everything is there...Amazon is heavily curated for their Kindle environment.
