Just curious, wondered if anyone has heard which UK carriers are going to carry the passport?

After some googling today there is a rumour that Vodafone will be stocking it from October.

Just have to wait and see.

    "Z30 STA100-2 UK" Get's a Ten from Fen.

If Vodafone does not offer it then I doubt any other will. Vodafone is the last blackberry supporter in the uk

You can just buy it unlocked from shopblackberry or anywhere else. And put your sim card in. BB10s use the same data as everyone else.

All my BB10 phones are unlocked. I use any network I want. EE at moment.

I'm guessing the reason behind OP's original question was so he could buy a contract phone from a network and not need to stump up 's upfront.

Possibly CPW will allow you to buy a Passport on a contract deal. It happens sometimes, I got my Lumia 1520 on an EE contract through a non network store even though EE don't offer the 1520.

What do you mean "possibly"? That's what they do. It doesn?t happen sometimes, it happens all the time. Every phone can be bought on contract, sim free or paygo. I got my Passport on O2 contract from CPW. It was available on all networks and on a multitude of tariffs.

Depends if Cpw want to take on the phone to sell.
At the moment no one but vodaphone as official networks is carrying the phone.

I spoke to o2 before release date and they said:

We are not stocking the passport or sell it any time soon.
However as soon as it becomes available in the near future we shall.

    Spoke to ee:

Sorry sir don't know what a blackberry passport is. I thought u had a UK passport.

So spoke to a manager instead, he said sorry but we have no plans.

So i think Cpw have exclusively got the offer on contract for all these networks for the time being.

When I went to CPW for my 1520, I could have it on Vodafone or O2. I wanted it on EE, and their answer was "no". Same answer from Phones4U; "no". The Lumia was apparently a carrier exclusive to those networks and they wouldn't bend.

To get the 1520 on an EE contract, I had to go elsewhere. I also got a 32" TV as part of the deal too! A loss for CPW/P4U and a win for me.

    So, yes, "possibly".

Vodafone are now promoting the Passport on their business home page.
Looks like you have to phone them for now.

Bought my Passport through CPW and an O2 sim only contract with it. Full whack price for PP but unlimited calls, texts and 5 gig data for 25 a month which is less than my Z10 on EE

Via Z10 or Passport, whichever is to hand

Good deal! I got mine from CPW on O2 for 60 quid up front, 28 pounds a month for 2 years for unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and 1Gb data. I work from home and am on WiFi usually and only use about 350mb of network data per month.
