Blend is looking very useful indeed for the workplace, however it would be a killer app if it could allow the computer or tablet to temporarily have access to documents in internal network shares setup in BlackBerry Work Drives on the BB10 phone.

Anybody with a Passport on a BES10 server know if it can do this, or of it is a planned feature for a later release such as when the rest of us get to use it?

He saves the presentation in to the Work Space on the Device Storage, not a Work Drive.

The locations he has available in the File Manager in Blend are:

Device - (Personal Space on the phone)
Device enterprise -(Work Space on the phone)
Box
DropBox
OneDrive
Music
Pictures
Video
A remote offline device

The general rule is : if you can access it on your device (within the range of supported applications) then you can access it via Blend. I'd tend to say you can, then.

"No VPN needed" is one of the most advertized argument ...

The bonus is you can also access your work internal Web from any device connected with Blend as well without additional VPN connection if your BlackBerry is connected to a BES server.

Hi! I've found the whitepaper today and read "access to BBM Chats, Groups and BBM Channels". That's already a very nice feature! So maybe Voice and Video in 2.0?! ;-)

Why has this thread been moved to the Blend forum mods?

I know it's about Blend but it's more about whether BlackBerry Work Drives is available through Blend and BlackBerry Work Drives is only available through BES10.

That means that this post is of little interest to consumers who may or may not use Blend but of huge interest to BESAdmins of BES10 servers in Enterprises.

Please move it back to the BES10 forum where it can be useful to people again.
