Ok so I finally got Blend installed on my MBP and on my work laptop (PC) and had some troubles getting connected but realized that I had not turned on Blend on my device (Z10) running 10.3.0.738 or 10.3.0.1154. Blend told me to make sure so thats how I realized that.

I got everything turned on and now when I try to connect this is what I get:

Now I'm no rocket scientist, but what the heck does that mean and it is not on just my MBP but it says the same thing on the PC as well. I am wirelessly connected on my Z10 and I have allow connections and use mobile network connected turned on as well, but still no luck. The only thing that I have not done is restart my Z10 but is that gonna solve the problem? I haven't tried to do anything prior to today and when I click on Troubleshooting this is where it takes me:

Check, check and double check...........what's next?

What does Restricted to RIM Internal Devices Only supposed to mean?

Frustrated and confused?

Also mods, can we create a Blend group for all of these type questions and posts?

Currently Blend is only available for Passport and the latest Porsche device. Also it will work with a Dev device or as the screen says internal device used by RIM employees.

It means leaked 10.3 won't work. We need to wait.

OP,when you downloaded the desktop software, did you look at the "Compatible Devices"? Was your Z10 listed?

There was not a screen that came up that showed what devices were compatible. Unless it was within the EULA

It says exactly on the front page of the blend site...

Very strange. When I go there, it shows compatible devices right on the first page.

OK I see where you mean, I had to scrooooooooooooooll aaaaalllll the way to the bottom of the page.....pertinent info should not be hidden like that

Haha... well, not exactly "hidden" right there on the first page, but I agree - as you have proven, some people don't bother reading everything before jumping right in. All that scroooooooooolllllling, I guess. They should put that info right at the top.

Yeah man, I went to the page, saw download and dove in like a shark hunter. If I had read the instructions and warnings I would have realized I didn't have the right equipment.

I'll stand in the corner now. SMH

We're all in the same boat. We will get blend though just need to be patient for the next update.
