How are the Maps and driving directions on the Passport on 10.3? If someone has tried them yet and can comment on accuracy and usability that'd be great.

Accuray and narration depends on the software you use and so far it has been spot on in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland

I mainly use Waze and Google maps in the UK for public transport and avoiding traffic. In the other countries I use BlackBerry Maps exclusively.

Sygic though works via Android port.
I had purchased a licence for android (HTC oneM7) and with snap I could also install it on BlackBerry.

Having just received my passport, I had a quick look on BlackBerry world and it's available for the passport but haven't had a chance to download it and try it.

I will try and download it later and try it out. I may not be able to as I'm flying out later today and won't be back till fri evening.

Hopefully someone else may be able to try it and report back.

How is Nav Free app not cost anything? POI and shops pay to have theirs listed first I suppose?

You need to ask the devs.... it is using open street maps for starters.... those are free...
