Was just watching the Passport launch and it was quite impressive and was wondering if Cheny and the boys will have a big splashy event to launch the classic, big former Great hockey player and all ??

From what I've read, Chen teased it right before he went off the stage and finished the event.

There ain't no press conference for the Classic. John Chen was like "And classic will be lunch later soon" without stating anything about the spec, the pros, Etc, that made me feel kinda sad.

I just watched the video on the WSJ by the woman hoping she would love it. Watching her type on it, and all the waggling around the phone does while she hit the keys.

Doubt if they will but I am needing a new phone soon waiting for the classic just hoping Chen delivers in November as he stated before.

maybe some advertisements here and there tv? internet billboards? that is it.

But i will think the classic will sell more than the Passport..... just a feeling i got!

Not a whole lot regarding the Classic on the call since I'm sure they want to focus on the Passport.

Chen did say there will be a BES12 launch event Nov 13 in San Francisco. The Classic could be launched there together, or they could keep it for its own event as to not let BES12 get overshadowed.
