    Try putting it in a bowl of rice overnight. I did that with my daughters ipod and it got the moisture out of it.

    Find desicant packages, the ones in shoe boxes and other things (usually say "DO NOT EAT") they're designed to absorb moisture. Also staples business depot carries a 18-20$ kit containing these in large format with a zip lock container for just such a thing. Good luck with your Z30 rescue.

    Right, my first reaction was get the battery out. But that can't be done with the Z30. A friend did save his wife's iphone years ago with the rice trick. Desiccant might be faster or better?

    Doing something is better than nothing, and yes desicant is better, rice is a good alternative, but not as fast and also tends to have fine dust that can creep inside the device to further gum up the internals... why rice can get sticky left in a pot etc...
