    Probably an Android port. They do not allow for permissions to be changed natively

    If you feel uncomfortable not being able to pick permissions then yes dump the app. I have already dumped two or three apps because of that.

    As an interesting aside a friend of mine has a Samsung Galaxy S5 (she is a computer programmer) and instead of using the Facebook app she uses the Web app through the browser because she doesn't like not being able to set the security permissions.
