    turned off my z30,screen went black and the LED now flashes,one flash then 3 flashes then one flash,repeats itself continuously.I tried pressing the on off for 10 seconds,and the volume but no change. i guess it died..ill see what its like tomorrow morning..... can anyone help?

    Try connecting to a power source and then do the hard rest by pressing the volume keys together.

    yes, i tried that but no help.I called Rogers and they told me it was a software issue,to send back the phone.It still is under warranty ,,they will fix it. I am wondering if i should even repair it..Maybe its time to switch to another model..How could my phone just die??!! Not too happy ....

    Try plugging into computer, connecting to BlackBerry link and re-install the OS.

    mkelly,thanks..did as you instructed,,and the led stopped blinking.Now it is completely dead,no led,try to turn on or reboot and it does nothing..its asleep!!! Anybody else had this problem and maybe can help me?

    Try pulling SIM and any SD card and using Link to restore it.

    It may be the "battery reset" issue, though usually you get a totally dead phone. If it's under warranty, just get it fixed/replaced.

    Try connecting to your computer via USB cable for many hours, then try a regular charger.

    Time to move on to Passport, if the phone has issues with respect to hardware. May be you can ask them to exchange for a passport or a new Z30.

    Rogers has agreed to swap my Z30 for a new one,should receive it on Monday. Sridhar,am not interested in the Passport,love my Z30!! Hopefully this software issue will not arise again.....

    That's great to have new Z30 replaced. I love my Z30 as well, but eager to own a Passport in future, so I can limit using my note book for viewing documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
