    Ok I smashed my z10 Tuesday. Completely shattered and stuck.

    So I repair the device. Inside gets a clean from previous water damage. Now fixed and don't get no battery warming or sudden drain. It is actually pretty cold.

    Off charge 4 hours ago. On 97%.

    What kind of "cleaning" did you do for the old water damage? So, the improved battery life might be the new screen or the cleaning job or both?

    Basically just brushed the boards down with a light brush like a toothbrush.

    I have the extended 4500mah battery and before I couldn't get 6 hours. Always warm. Now my phone came off charge at 7am, it's 7pm now and I've been around London flat hunting using Google maps.

    I'm on 23%. And when I get to 0% I still have battery left as the calibration is a little out

    No just got the correct lcd screen myself. Or you can use the people on your high street. Much cheaper.

    I guess I too need to open up my phone and clean it from inside... or put in a very thin film of thermal paste... so that my phone runs cooler

    You need to get the serial code of the exact screen with the digitizer attached. If unsure than use somebody on the street and get it done for $50. It's worth it.

    Anyone else who does it post feedback. I cannot screen grab at present until my volume buttons are reconnected. Such a bummer I have to replace it again lol.
