Please give me a step by step guide as I'm a newbie and desperately need Google Maps as a friend has given me his GPS coordinates and this useless BB Maps cannot support such a simple features as entering GPS Coordinates!

Which OS version do you have on your Q10? You need at least version 10.2.1. Have you installed any android apps before? If you have, then the process is the same for google maps, everything works other than you can't log in with a google account to retrieve starred places.

but that won't allow me to enter GPS coordinates and then give me voice guided navigation so what's the point? (correct me if i'm wrong please)

Its not in app world, you need snap or another android app store to find it.

Install the amazon appstore

--> Click the download button, then tap on the downloaded file and install.
Or look on CB for a guide on how to install/sideload Snap.

You then will find one (or two if you install both) new market in your BB. From there you can search and install android apps as you are downloading from BBWorld ;-)
