I just purchased the z30 for an unbelievable price and my local futureshop. I have a q10 and iPhone 5 primarily for an ipod. I feel ridiculous having three phones lol. The more I use this z30 the more I love it. Makes me realize how tiny the q10 screen is and how everything is crunched onto the tiny screen. My q10 will most likely collect dust from now on which is unfortunate. I wish the quality of the screen on the z30 was full hd like the Samsung's.

I'm not overly impressed with the battery yet. The phone was played around with 9 months ago and left in the box with an empty battery before I purchased it, I would know cause I'm the one who did it. Does this ruin the battery at all?

Do any other people let there out there who upgraded from q10 not use the tiny screens on the q10 anymore.

Can't wait till 10.3 comes out!!!

Yes I've had all three devices, there all good , your battery will probably get better over the next few days, just keep charging via the wall plug not usb.

I've had them all as well. Really like the Z30. Best of the BlackBerry I've had. I'm on AT&T though and don't get LTE. That's about all I miss from the Q10.

Had a z10. Then bought a Z30. Traded me Z10 for a Q10 in the CrackBerry marketplace. My Q is my work phone and my Z30 is my media /home phone.

Hey, if your Q10 is just going to be collecting dust you can send it my way...

On a side note, you should definitely try one of the more recent 10.3 leaks on your Z30. Battery life has been phenomenal on my Z10, and I'd imagine it would help out in your case as well.

Just upgraded to the z30 from q10. Do you use q10 anymore?-samdellvenue-win_20140919_170551.jpg

I have all three flagship bb10 phones, and I end up coming back to the Q10. Although I initially thought that I would ditch the Q10 screen immediately when I got the Z10 and the Z30.

I don't see what's so good about the big screen for the communication purpose of a phone.
    - A big screen is supposedly better for watching videos but when was the last time that you finished watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy on your phone?
    - Also, the bigger screen makes the one handed usage harder and it makes the phone less portable.
    - The Q10 also comes with a set of keyboard shortcuts which makes the phone very easy to use.

All in all, I turn to the Z10 if I want to use the touch screen for a while. For me, the portable size is more important than the big size of the screen.

The biggest reason to use the Z30 would be for the battery life on the phone.

I have a Z30, tried a Z10 during the last month or so, and ended up buying a Q10. I am keeping the Z30 as a secondary device and selling the Z10.

    Why a Q10 while I have a Z30?
Because I never felt comfortable taking the Z30 out of the holster and could not type on the screen while walking or moving around. I would always fear it would slip out of my hand. Plus it doesn't have a removable battery.
The Z10 is nice but has neither the advantages of the Z30 or of the Q10, or its strengths turned out not compelling enough vs. each of the Z30 or the Q10 for my usage.
The Q10 has a convenient physical keyboard, is manageable with one hand, sports a very robust body, and offer a very decent battery life. It is almost out of stock with the local keyboard in my country and there is no successor in sight yet, so I had to get it quickly. I didn't even consider the Classic as it looks like a midrange device and will have a fixed battery.

However for browsing the web, reading, and watching videos or even playing games the Z30 is unbeatable.

I am sure the op will enjoy the Z30, but maybe he will miss some of the Q10 features.

I too just bought a z30 and have used q10 in past. I think bigger screen, battery and the fluid keypad makes it a better deal than q10

I have both the q10 and z30. I primarily use my q as my day to day phone. I love the bigger screen the z has but my heart belongs to the physical keyboard, wouldnt complain if we got a larger screen phOne with a keyboard

Many reasons to keep the Q man, still better to type out long emails and messages on the Q, its more portable, and yet large enough and capable enough for browsing, apps, etc when needed.

The Z30 is great in its own right - USB OTG, miracast, phenomenal speakers and paratek antenna.

Videos and media will always be better on the Z30, its still cumbersome to carry around though.

Nothing beats the portability of the Q or Z10.

I've been needing to look at big files with ambulance specs and building plans. Z30 has been fair for that but still not really big enough. I think a q would be worse. I guess my point is it's not just about watching videos. I do miss a bit smaller phone sometimes though.
