I apologize if this is already here, but I have never seen it posted or had it happen before... I am running 10.2.1.2977. I used Link to sync my music, but now I have a bunch of blank entries. And clicking on some songs now causes a different song to play. Ideas?

I don't get that on 10.3 and I didn't get that on 10.2 either.
I use the music player 10 hours a day lol. On my way to work, back from work, sleeping and eating.
The only issue I have is the bottom bar hiding the track number and sometimes it's laggy and I get random errors.

Did you copy your files over Wi-Fi ? I guess so. Try by USB. I'm sure it will be ok

Have experienced this issue also. Sometimes I get duplicate songs, and deleting one will remove both copies. Sometimes the music app crashes... and forces me to close it. I also have the issue with selecting one song to play, and something different is played.

It can be fixed quite easily, hook the phone to a pc,
On the pc navigate to the folder where the music is and right click the track and change something, eg, put an extra space in the title,
That should force the music player to reindex the music.

Do a search on CB for "Andrews Sisters". I had a similar issue. One or more of your files has a special character embedded in the title or in its meta data. Search in the directory where you are having issues and look at the file names and meta data one or more of those files will have a special character that is messing things up. Edit or rename the files as necessary.

Thank you. Seems to have helped! I am very meticulous about my meta data so I don't know how anything weird was going on, but it's better now!

I have the same thing. Also, when I play songs in a playlist each song will play twice even though the "play" icon shifts down to the next song in the list. Even if I manually choose a different song in the playlist it will jump away from the song I chose and go back to the previous song and play it again (very weird). I also get the blanks scattered through my playlists next to the track number as the OP mentioned. For me it only started after the latest update from AT&T (10.2.1.3014). I may just run another OS version through Sachesi and see if that changes anything.

Sorry to being up an old thread but I'm having the same issue. It just seem to start out of the blue. Now most of my playlist and albums show multiple songs. I tried to change a song so it can reindex w/no luck.

Any other suggestions?
