    needs commas!

I was just doing some basic calculations that ended up numbering into the billions, and I could not for the life of me read what the number was until I had done a few passes. Too many zeroes, not enough commas. Really frustrating.

And if not commas, small spaces every three numbers.

How about posting it (or may be someone already did) at icanmakeitbetter? I'd also love to see this feature introduced!

Commas in some languages are decimal points. Fun fact.

Well, separation can be still introduced and be based on your local settings!

Searched for this idea on the icanmakeitbetter platform and found out that it was requested more than half a year ago! Here it is: CLICK.

The Calculator app needs a thousands separator.

I was making a calculation today and since there were too many figures in the number without thousands separator, it was pretty hard to read it quickly enough. I ended up using a friend's iphone that has a calculator with thousands separator.

Come on Blackberry. It is a business phone, you can do better than this.

People, get your acts together, create a profile at icanmakeitbetter and vote+comment if all of us are that interested in adding the thousands separator within the calculator app! Since I came across this suggestion two days ago, no extra votes were added! In addition to that it already says "Under Review" what based on my experience with the portal is a good sign. Usually it just says "Acknowledged" and nothing happens!
