i have autoloader for 10.2.1 and i want to just do a core OS install.

i have split the os into two parts coreOS+Apps and Radio. both of these are just ended with signed and not .bar

i tried dragging them to sachesi but they being a .bar file are not installed.

so
1)is there a way to convert these OS.signed to OS.signed.bar?
or
2)any other way to go about doing a non destructive upgrade by manipulating this autoloader in someway?

any help is appreciated.

You can build autoloader for core os using darcy BlackBerry tools or sachesi and it is non destructive

thanks for the reply Usman.. on second try just renaming the file with .bar in the end and dragging it on sachesi ver 1.2.1 seems to be working.
sachesi says sending debrick.signed.bar Core OS and the phone also shows the OTA software update window.

fingers crossed, hoping just renaming with .bar in end does the trick.

btw autoloader always does wipe the phone if i am not wrong. has anything changed?

that was a no go.. 50% into it and then showed a error 533 not a Zip file :/

If you made autoloader from core os only it won't destructive

If you made it from debrick it is destructive

I see alot of people out here that don't suggest restoring from backup. But from my experience, I've had good luck with that. Since 10.2.1, i've used the autoloaders, and then restored from backup. All my settings and apps, including android apps are restored. The only thing i usually have to reload is snap.
