    If BBRY want to help the Passport to be a hit in numbers of initial sales, it would benefical if they were to work with the carriers to allow for early upgrades at the time of release.

    For example, I cannot upgrade until next March without major fees, but would upgrade to the Passport immediately if I could without penalty even though I really want a Passport with a virtual keyboard.

    VZW has a deal for the new iPhone 6, you would think they would do the same for the Passport.

    Rogers in Canada has an early upgrade program as well. Regardless of the device

    Ya, I think the last time I did it there was three months remaining in my contract so I had to pay a buy out on the remaining months of 20,00 per month

    My wife has three months left on hers, and since she is taking my z30, I'm going to pick up her early upgrade and grab the passport....it should do me until a z50 comes out
