    I am using an old 9810 well past contract, and I am ready for an update. I would like to get either the Passport of Classic (leaning towards the Passport) and I also want to get a smartwatch. Does anyone have any experience using smartwatches with BB10? Particularly the Pebble steel, as it seems to be the best fit. How is the app support? Notifications? Can I use third party apps to type if I need to and other apps such as Rebble? Thanks!

    There was a post about this in the blogs not long ago (today? yesterday?)

    Talk2Watch and Talk2Watch Pro will get the Pebble working with any BB10 device. There is also the Sony Smartwatch, the android app works on BB10.

    Android Wear stuff we're still awaiting for reports.

    Pebble works with all 3, Android wear I would wait until 10.3 to double check but it 'should' work.

    It doesn't work with my Passport.

    I get the following two lines of text when I attempt to connect via the application:

    spp_open fail
    errno = 16

    My pebble steel is working either with the android app or with Talk2Watch Pro.
    The android app has no possibility to get the notifications of BB10, but it's useful for certain watchfaces.
    T2W has support for BBM notification, whole texts and phone ringing (anonymous, but CallerID supports it, small headless app). With T2W running my pebble drains very fast, squeezing out a whole day is difficult, really disappointing. The android app is much better...

    Power tools also has an option to link a pebble. U don't have one (but I want to) so I don't know what Power Tools allows.
